Winner Short Story Contest - "Shamrocks, Nudes, and Nightingales", my mystery short story won first prize for the wild-card themed competition of the Atlanta Writers Club.  The judges commented:
"This story is written with the mastery of a seasoned crime novelist.  If this were sample pages for a book pitch they could probably interest a literary agent.  The writer should make this the basis of a book series."
I suppose that's as a good a challenge as any to take the short story and develop a full blown novel around it!
